Sooooo very romantic

When I saw this DCWV paper in the Craft Den I thought it would look lovely with a wedding photo so I'm very sorry but it's me and my OH again!!!! lol Actually I'm getting into his good books as he says I never use picture's of him!!! xx bless

I was looking on the blogs yesterday and saw on such a pretty mess blog that she had used pearls to go round a circle so I thought it may look good on the arched window!! Added a little felt fence/gate a bit of bling, Bo Bunny rub on and a flower with some leaves I purchased from Dunn Elm (don't think they look too bad!! xx All products except leaves are available from the Craft Den.

Finally couldn't miss out on showing you Billie who was so fascinated with crafting she fell asleep!!!

Christmas with Blonde Moments

Sat playing with my Blonde Moments papers today and found some lovely pictures of the girls!! The first one is Rochelle on the sofa in our old house. I have cut out several of the papers from the 6x6 pack into triangles and matted onto bazzil thought they looked like a tree!! I have punched holes in these added eyelets and ribbons, some card candy & little sayings from my stash!!

This xmas tree card is a copy of what they did in card class last week (future classes can be found here) only I have made my with BM. First I have painted the l/stick in a raspberry dabber then a coat of crackle glaze and a coat of pool you can't really see from the photo but I think it looks quite effective. I have also used the b/m ribbons a bit of bazzil and stickles. All products from the Craft Den.

The final picture I couldn't resist showing!! It's my baby "Dusty" and Danielle's kitten "Tiger Lily" caught in the act (new best friends)xx

Day out to Craft Individuals

Had a fabulous day out to Craft Individuals with Lynne, Ann, Pat and loads of lovely ladies!!

Thought we would try something a little different and as you can see from the pictures it was just that. Jean from CI was just lovely no pressure just a wonderful relaxed day. We started off the morning undercoating our frame then we painted it with some fabby paints called Croco which as you can see from the photos cracks when you apply the heat gun. We then wiped the finished frame over with some different paint that went into the cracks to make them more pronounced. After all this we had to decide what theme we where after then down to business filling the twelve compartments. (Jean had tables and tables filled with all sorts of beautiful embellishments for us to choose from) Here are a few photo's of Lynne in action.

and this is my finished frame must say I love it!! Just love the brown and copper mixed together!! Loads of metal backgrounds and beautiful embellishments had a wonderful day!!

It's was a great day out great company and a lovely relaxed tutor oh and before I forget loads of beautiful stamps, papers and goodies to purchase after!!

Gorgeous Chatterbox Range

Well what can I say, as soon as I saw this gorgeous range from Chatterbox with its fabulous flocked & gold foiled paper's I just had to have them.

I purchased the Twiddleybitz window a few weeks ago another must have!! and when I saw these papers I knew I could incorporate it together just needed the photo. Began the search and came up with this photo of me on our wedding day November 2001.

I started with my glimmer mist in moonlight & crafty notions Gold to spray the window. I then used my large retro punch to cut out the flowers and added a small flower punch for the middle or on some I used the fab set of brads from the same range in peacock these are really beautiful such a vibrant colour!! I have also added some small flowers that I have coloured in with my copics to match the paper.

I have added a beautiful peacock colour feather and some lovely little gems on wire along with some little gems added here and there.

I think the page looks really nice but my hubby says I look as if I'm in prison!!! lol xx

Bo Bunny "Love Shack"

Had two great classes at the Craft Den this week, Wednesday night class which is always very noisy was silent we where busy concentrating on our copic's!!! colouring in demands so much attention that we didn't have much time to chat lol.

Thursday is scrap booking and this week we used the beautiful "Love Shack" as you can see from the pictures we did a bit of cutting out, inking and threading ribbon onto our layout we also used some fabulous lace this was new in this week!! we only had about an inch which we cut into the four little pieces so you can imagine how gorgeous this actually is in a continuous piece!! The picture is my daughter a few year back (she said it's awful as she looks like a chav!!) I think she looks beautiful especially with the pearl bling down the side as she also loves a bit of bling and pink!!

Domestic Dave!!!

It's Domestic Dave's birthday and what better card could I send him!! Out came the Flippin Men again I can always count on these something here for everyone, (thank god for this decoupage range as I really don't like doing men cards!!).

Anyway Dave is Longley's very own "Domestic Goddess" he is obsessed with his unit being clean and is constantly complaining of finger marks and marks on his carpets from the wheelchairs!! He also likes to go home after work to sit in his garden and have a nice cold beer. I think this card covers Dave, Happy Birthday xx

Had a fab day at the Craft Den today!! A whole day of scrap booking with great company how can you top that!!!!

The second page was with the new Wisteria range that came in this week layered onto bazzil and with the beautiful sizzix flourish die. (keep your eyes peeled to Lynne's blog as she is going to be stocking the dies in the next few weeks)

The final page is with Daisy Bucket little black dress papers, lots of circles my choice as I didn't want the tags and a beautiful black felt die cut ribbon!! Can't wait for the next all day crop which is in August!!
