Another Birthday xx

Can't believe I have not blogged all weekend so naughty!! Things are still very hectic here at the moment as my youngest daughter was poorly over the weekend and we had to make a trip to our local hospital Sunday night, doctor's Monday morning and then hospital for the rest of the day but she is now feeling much better and just has to go back for a blood test next week!!!
My sister is also in hospital as she has had an operation on her back so obviously very little time for crafting just visiting and sneaking to see baby Summer!!! lol xx

Well today's my nephew Owen's birthday and this is one of the cards I have made him!!! It is also my entry for The Sugar Bowl this week!!

Tiets has done the fab sketch and you need to use punches! The prize this week is a set of 6 new Manga stamps!!!

I have used a sheet of pearl card and my minds eye papers for the background and the rest where freebie's from a magazine!! Distressed the edges and inked with vintage photo DI.

The punches I have used are the zig zag Martha Stewart, Button and the scalloped circles for the sentiment. The image is one I received in a Funky Kits Goodie bag when they where on offer!! coloured with my copics and edges with the DI's.

Last nights class & Baby update!!

This is the layout I did last night at the Craft Den!! Can you believe it no baby in sight, well that's not true as this is Dusty and she's my baby!!! lol

We used a shaped paper from Bo Bunny's "Sophie" collection cut in half and layered on to cream bazzil and a strip of brown dotty bazzil.

Here we used the new Paper Artsy stamps which are just gorgeous!! I stamped just at the bottom of my page with Wild Plum, Crushed Olive and Brown and then added different stickles which really look lush!! We used a MS punch for the brown strip at the edge and for my photo's I used the circle nesties in plain for the photo's and the scalloped for the bazzil!! (never used so many photo's!!!)
Added these beautiful butterflies which where once again from Paper Artsy!! these new dies which match the stamps and are new in at the Craft Den!!!

Don't these stamps look so beautiful!!!

This picture is on Wednesday when little "Summer was allowed home sat in her little vibrating chair!! She just looks so long, but very beautiful!!

This is the first ever card I have ever done with an image painted with distress inks!!! and I do feel very pleased with it!! Even though when my friend (you know who you are) sees it she will say I need glasses with the image!!!! lol xx
I have used plain green card for the background and stamped my image onto it!!
The gorgeous gold netting if another fab find at the Craft Den!!! I have added my peacock feather and lovely green pin and couldn't find a flower to match so back to the ribbon box and I sat and sewed this little beauty!!! added the lovely brad (chatterbox range) to finish it off!!

Scrapping with Flutterby!!

It was Scrap Book class last night at the Craft Den and we made this beautiful page with Bo-Bunny "Flutterby" papers and coloured bazzil.

On the yellow background we used a Doilie for the stamped image and Brown Burlap in the distress ink pads. We then used punches for the Green piece in the middle and threaded spotted ribbon. The bottom half we have just used half a piece of the gorgeous shapes flutterby paper and inked the edges (at home I have gone around the edge and the flowers with stickles).

We hand cut the leaves and punched all the flowers then doodled and inked the edges.

Lynne showed us how to make this gorgeous butterfly!!! which we inked the edges.

This is my beautiful "Muffin" who was my first cat and me and the girls loved her to bit's!!!! I found these little cork letters and think they look perfect with the papers!!

It's our friend Jills birthday today!!!

Happy birthday Jill hope you have a fab day and get lot's of pampering!!!!

It was craft night at the Craft Den yesterday and we did this fab tag book!! and I forgot to mention we had the most fabulous carrot cake & Banana & Toffee cake as it's Jill birthday on Friday on the lovely Ann made two cakes!!!! Fabby xx

Love craft night as we always do different projects and techniques!!
Here is my book after I added some fibre's at home.

The first one is a tag backed with Blonde Moments paper, a strip of black mesh which we added the via to then dried, we then added a strip of white acrylic paint and ribbon then just doodles round the edges to finish.

This one is some lovely corrugated card distressed and then we have a piece of metal which we dabbed black paint on and then waited for it to dry before sanding off!!! Added a couple of brads and ribbon. The other side I have not taken a photo!!! but we ripped paper and added some 7 gypsies gaffer tape.

Inked around the edges of this maya road shape then cut out the same shape but smaller from the remaining paper the other side we had a beautiful white oval cut with the nestie another oval in black then put through the cuttlebug added more brads and attached to the shape!!! Added some fibres once home and Wow a complete project!!!

More House Mouse Decoupage!!!

Well I must say I have been a good girl lately and have tried to use more of my stash!! This beautiful card I have used my Anna Griffin papers which was a TSV many moons ago!!!! lol
Out came my fabulous decoupage from Joanna Sheen "House Mouse Designs" I have two sets Home & Garden & Food and Drink so you may see these quite often as there are 10 designs in each pack!!!!

I have used this beautiful design as The challenge at "Magical Crafts is "Animal Antic's" and "Secret Crafters Saturdays Challenges" is How does your Garden Grow so thought this would be perfect!!

Plenty of glamour dust, stickles and glossy accents on the main decoupage.

Used ribbon to match papers which was also in the TSV!! and the flowers I have used my retro punches and I had no flowers that really matched!!!! lol xx
